Art meets Surf with the Byron Bay Surf Festival Art Show

Join us for an evening of artistic delight at the McTavish Byron Bay store on Friday, 16th August, from 5-7pm.

The Byron Bay Surf Festival Art Show is set to dazzle with a stunning collection of works from some of the most celebrated artists in the surf community.

Marvel at the creations of BBSF founder James McMillan, whose vision continues to inspire. Be captivated by the artistry of Otis Carey, renowned for his striking Aboriginal murals and recently his giant piece in Chris Hemsworth’s Byron Bay mansion.

We will get a chance to dive into the vibrant world of the Arsenick Pharo himself, Ozzie Wright! As well as the eclectic works of Jaleesa Vincent, Paul McNeil, and Andrew Buckley!

As you explore these incredible pieces, enjoy refreshments provided by Gage Roads. This free event offers a unique opportunity to connect with the artists and fellow art enthusiasts in an intimate setting.

The evening doesn’t end there. Stick around as we transition into the McTavish Trim presentations, where invited surfers will be awarded their competitor jerseys. This seamless blend of art and surf culture encapsulates the spirit of the Byron Bay Surf Festival, making it an event not to be missed. Come celebrate creativity and community with us!
