RVCA Art Show
Thursday 22nd Feb 5-7pm
The RVCA Store Gallery
(30 Johnson street, Byron Bay)
KUSP, presented by RVCA, is a collaboration between surfer Ari Browne, Shaper Joshua Keogh, and filmmaker JJ Stanbrook. The exhibition is a composite of finless surfboards, acrylic paintings, video, and 35mm photography. The surfboards on show are a rarity in that they move away from typical design processes and start to voluntarily move towards exploring the unknown outer precipice, or cusp, of surfboard design. The boards were all shaped by Joshua Keogh, and uniquely painted on by Ari Browne.
You can also find a selection of the boards and art work at the BBSF Surf Art Markets on Saturday 24 Feb in the KUSP tipi, located near the shaper’s zone.
